Guide
Start with the job you need done.
BenchVoice works best as a compact basketball loop: capture the team game, grow the MyPlayer record, make shooting progress visible, and use Community when the work needs a scoreboard.
Fast startCreate or open the team/player first. Use the in-app Guide only when setup, live capture, MyPlayer, Community, sharing, export, or metric questions need a direct answer.
Quick Start Loop
- 1
Choose the job for this session
Start from the lane that matches what you are doing now: Team Game for live tracking, MyPlayer for personal development, Shooting for reps, Community for comparison, or Shared Team Access for the team update.
- 2
Create the team or player record
Add the roster, open the active team, or create/select the player profile before logging games, workouts, shooting sessions, goals, or progress.
- 3
Run the live game
Use the game surface for score, fouls, substitutions, lineups, shot locations, timeouts, event history, and corrections while the game is happening.
- 4
Publish or share the official update
After the game, the team operator decides what to share. Shared Team Access gives players, parents, assistants, and family viewers the team update.
- 5
Review the evidence
Use analytics, reports, shot charts, lineup context, and exports to understand what changed and what needs attention next.
- 6
Keep player work moving
Use MyPlayer and Shooting for workouts, goals, focused sessions, awards, weekly progression, and Community-ready progress between games.
- 7
Check the Community Dashboard
Use Community leaderboards, tiers, percentile, category charts, and weekly movement to see where your player work stands.
Use It by Role
Coach or stat keeper
Create/open a team, confirm the roster, then start Live Game.
- Track score, fouls, substitutions, lineups, shot locations, and timeouts live.
- Use undo/corrections instead of re-entering the game after the buzzer.
- Review team analytics, export reports, and publish the coach-controlled update.
Player
Open MyPlayer, select your profile, and choose the next activity.
- Log workouts, goals, focused game context, and development activity.
- Start Shooting when you want a session scorecard, zone read, or progression credit.
- Use trends, awards, and Community comparison as signals for what to work on next.
Parent or shared viewer
Open Shared Team Access from the link sent by the coach.
- View the coach-published team record without paying for coach tools.
- Use the shared view as the official update, not as an editable team workspace.
- Ask the coach to republish if the shared team view looks stale.
Trainer
Use MyPlayer and Shooting before treating game stats as the full story.
- Track player-owned workouts, shooting zones, progression, and awards.
- Connect individual work to game evidence when the coach has shared context.
- Use exports and support paths when moving data between workflows.
